Ground Source Heat Pump for Redmarley Home

Our latest installation of a Ground Source Heat Pump for our customers in Redmarley, Gloucestershire, came about after they purchased their home and set about looking for an efficient and environmentally replacement for the incumbent oil boiler

As with any important decision the process we undertake is to meet with the customers both on site at the new property and also at our offices. We believe that this builds the trust moving forwards and allows plenty of time for the customers to fully understand the works involved and how the heat pump can provide the heating and hot water that they require.

A heat loss calculation is carried out primarily to gauge what size heat pump is required, bearing in mind that the customers have plans to extend and change the layout of the property, whilst allowing for us to understand what heating elements they will want. Many customers will be looking to have a mixture of underfloor heating downstairs and a mixture of radiators and towel rails in the upstairs.

This process is not rushed and at GSM we find that this is crucial for customers to feel in control and gaining knowledge of what will be undertaken and the objectives at the end.

We also understand that renovations to a property involves coordinating other contractors and as we use our own plumbers and electricians we are not under pressure to complete jobs that week and can be off and on site to fit in with our customers work schedules. Feedback from customers significantly states that this is a big plus in using GSM and reduces the pressures that they find themselves under when completing these building transformations.

Once all the trenching work has been undertaken by us , it is a planning job to get their internal heating and hot water systems fitted in line with the renovation work. With a complete administration service, we finalise the process by securing the customer’s Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) application and confirmation of payments that they will get.

We installed a Kensa (Made in UK) 15 kW Ground Source Heat Pump.
