New Air Source Heat Pump For Much Marcle Customers

GSM recently completed this Air Source Heat Pump for our customers, who having purchased a cottage with a failing oil tank, were looking to new technologies that would offer them the heating and hot water that they desired.

Coupled with the new Renewable Heat Incentives the lure of an Air Source Heat Pump provided this solution. GSM carried out an intensive first meeting with the customers to gain a clear understanding of their plans for the cottage. Once both parties had agreed on their objectives, we revisited the house to carry out a full heat loss calculation, asses the radiator sizes and where we could enhance the efficiency within the cottage of the heating.

The recommended product was a Mitsubishi Ecodan 14kW Air Source Heat Pump with a 250 litre unvented water tank.

The customer can expect to have their capital investment paid back in seven years, based on the RHI payments, plus their savings on oil and not having to replace an old oil boiler.
